Jane has been a Victorian presenter with ‘Gardening Australia’, A.B.C. Television’s national gardening program for over 19 years it views on Saturdays at 6.30pm and Sundays at 1pm.

Saturday and Sunday morning from 8am till 10am Jane and Darren James present ‘The Big Backyard’ on 3AW-693 And on a Thursday Jane chats with Ernie Sigley. Throughout the week she presents Magic 1278's gardening segments, short, sharp and timely tips.

Jane writes for many magazines, Coast and Country and Gardening Australia, plus she has written 5 books with the best selling being ‘Jane Edmanson’s Working Manual for Gardeners’, which has been reprinted many, many times and is available for purchase directly from this site.

Every year Jane takes garden tours, both within Australia and overseas, as well as lots of garden talks and media presentations. Some of the organizations of which she is a Patron include, the Royal Horticulture Society, Sustainable Gardening Australia, Ambassador for Australia Day, Ambassador of Cystic Fibrosis Victoria, Friends of the Wail Arboretum, Horsham, Victoria.

Jane has also been awarded an Order of Australia Medal of which she is very proud.
